Lingyuan received B.S. from Peking University (2012) and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin (2018), advised by Prof. Alexander A. Demkov. He then conducted postdoctoral research with Prof. Andrew M. Rappe at the University of Pennsylvania (2018-2021) and Prof. Laurent Bellaiche at the University of Arkansas (2021-2026).
